Down to Cowes. Don't normally venture into the harbour but as it was quiet I had a quick sail inside before leaving to the east. These photos are all of the west side as the sun was very low and bright in the east.
Hello, I'm Ed Hughes and this blog is about my Silhouette Mk3 sailboat, sail number 290, built in the late 1960s by Hurley Marine, Plymouth, England. The S Mk3 was a grp development by Hurley of Robert Tucker's original wooden hard chine Silhouette. I bought Misty in March 2006 and have since sailed her in the Solent and beyond. I have also carried out some refurbishment and modification work, as this blog describes. To read the story chronologically use the archive to the right.
